There’s been a lot of delays, but VR compatible horror game Syndrome is very nearly here, and you can get a taste of the terror below.
Syndrome’s PS4 and PC launch won’t support VR in every mode, but does offer a Survival option in which you can put on a headset, grab a DualShock 4 or gamepad, and take on hordes of mechanical monstrosities. For fans of controller-based gameplay it looks like it could be a big hit. For people that don’t like to scream, well, you might be out of luck.
Publisher Bigmoon just released the above clip of poor test subjects shrieking along to the gameplay, in which monsters emerge from the dark to take swipes at you.
Syndrome launches on PS4, PC and Xbox One on October 6th for $39.99.
