Original: The Way of Kings: Escape the Shattered Plains is a recently released VR experience for Oculus Rift and HTC Vive on Steam that puts players at the center of the world from Brandon Sanderson’s best-selling epic fantasy novel series, The Stormlight Archives. The first book in the series, The Way of Kings, gets the VR treatment with this release.
In The Way of Kings, certain characters have the ability to harness the light and power of storms and can do incredible things like fly, walk on walls, and gain amazing combat abilities. While this VR experience is extremely brief, it offers a glimpse at what a fully realized world might look like.
