Taco Bell and Sony are certainly not strangers. Previously, Taco Bell has held contests for the PS3, Playstation Vita, and even a golden PS4. This time around they’re offering customers a chance to win a PlayStation VR before it lands in stores. The contest is quite benevolent as well: Someone will win every 15 minutes between September 15th through October 19th.
34 days. 96 winners a day. 3,264 winners. In order to be one of those winners, you have three options and only one of those requires an actual purchase.
- Purchase a $5 Big Box from Taco Bell, which includes a Quesarito, two crunchy tacos, and a medium drink.
- Snail mail a code request by writing your name, address, age, and email on a 3½” x 5” properly stamped postcard and mail it to: Taco Bell and PlayStation Game Code Request, P.O. Box 251328, West Bloomfield, MI 48325. Enveloped requests will not be accepted this way.
- Request a code online here.
Once you get a code, text it in or go online and enter it for your chance to win.
Additional rules can be found here, but basically be over 18 and live in the 50 states + DC (PS4 not required to win, but required for the bundle to be of use to you, of course). If you happen to be one of 3,264 winners, you’ll receive a PS VR headset, two move controllers, a PlayStation camera, and $40 PlayStation store credit. That’s a great value and Reddit user BearWithAScarf is supposedly putting down $100 on Taco Bell big boxes to try and win a headset. If the gamble is successful, that’s actually several hundred dollars in savings. If not, that’s still a lot of tacos.
