It’s almost here sports virtual reality fans! Oculus Connect 3 is less than a week away and will kick off a sort of early Christmas for VR enthusiasts. October is going to be jam packed with important VR news, announcements, releases, and updates and we can hardly wait to open our presents. Today we all got a nice little stocking stuffer, however, in the form of the official OC3 smartphone application. The app outlines the who, what, where, and when of the event, and it also revealed something even more interesting: the demos.
A major draw for OC3 is the chance to go hands-on with many of the most anticipated, unreleased Oculus Rift and Gear VR titles. This year the major buzz will center around games that take advantage of the company’s new Touch hand controllers — which many suspect will be announced in full detail at the show — but there are other more traditional offerings to get excited about as well.
The list of demos in the app is almost assuredly incomplete as Oculus is likely saving its heaviest hitters for big, show-floor reveals. The list we do have, however, is still plenty worth checking out, which you can do so below:
