The VR Society has announced details for this year’s On The Lot conference, which will now include an all-new augmented reality track to discuss the latest on Apple’s ARKit and Google’s ARCore.
“We have long wanted to showcase AR professionals and their new technologies. On The Lot allows us to bring them together with our VR leaders along with the Hollywood creative community, tap this collective genius to drive everyone’s success forward,” said Jim Chabin, President of the Advanced Imaging and VR Societies.
In addition to a specific AR track, the conference will also feature a variety of VR and AR-focused panels with subjects ranging from education, healthcare, monetization and retail applications.
Participants in this year’s conference include AMD Studios, Dell, Google, HP, Intel, Legend, NVIDIA, Sony Music, Technicolor, Unity and Unreal Engine, among others. Attendees can also expect keynote speeches from Unity’s Tony Parisi, Dell’s Gary Radburn and AMD’s Roy Taylor.
