Check Out This Awesome Giant PlayStation VR In London Today

If you put on a VR headset while standing inside a giant VR headset, how many layers deep are you into virtual existence?

That’s not a question we ever thought we’d ask ourselves, but it springs to mind as we look at this awesome giant-sized PlayStation VR headset that’s on display at King’s Cross Station in London today. Sony’s long-anticipated headset finally arrives tomorrow, October 13th, and the company is getting ready for its marketing assault, starting with this demo pod in which travelers can stop off for a quick demo. Inside the giant PlayStation VR are several, much smaller units that people can put on their heads and experience a range of content. The installation is going to be there until Sunday.

If you don’t get a chance to see the device this week then don’t worry, it’s also on display elsewhere in London until October 16th, and heads to both Bristol and Manchester later in the month. You can also expect to see plenty of advertisements on TV and online in the coming days. You might be sick of it before long.

PlayStation VR arrives with a huge launch line-up tomorrow, including the likes of RIGS: Mechanized Combat League and EVE: Valkyrie. We’ve spent the past month and a half counting down the days to release with a look at one new game a day. We’re going to conclude the list later today with one of our most anticipated upcoming titles, so make sure to tune back in a little later on.

We reviewed PlayStation VR last week, finding a headset that was surprisingly well-designed and immersive, though suffered from tracking issues. We’ve also reviewed the first wave of games like Batman: Arkham VR and Wayward Sky, and we’ll have much more coverage today and throughout the rest of the week.
