The Unity VR/AR Vision Summit kicks off Wednesday with a power-punching keynote featuring Palmer Luckey, Gabe Newell and other important VR minds. The conference will also play host to the Vision VR/AR awards ceremony and both of these events will be live-streamed via YouTube. Links to the live streams for both events will be available on the conference’s website beginning February 10. We’ll be there reporting live so check the UploadVR Twitter feed as well.

The keynote will begin at 10 am PST and will run until noon. There is no word yet on exactly what these industry giants might reveal but, considering the event’s host, and the fact that major headset launches are just around the corner, the address will most likely serve to rally developers toward creating the amazing experiences VR will need in order to become a hit in 2016. We are also hoping Unity might detail an answer to the in-VR development suite on the way from Epic Games and its Unreal Engine.
The Vision VR/AR awards will celebrate some of the greatest and most enjoyable accomplishments in VR to date. The event will be live streamed beginning at 8 pm PST on Wednesday. The nominees include titles such as Job Simulator, Fantastic Contraption and Thunderbird.
