Though Canadian and European VR fans have been able to pick up an Oculus Go standalone headset directly from the company since launch last month, more purchasing options have arrived today.
Go launched in over 300 stores across the two regions today, starting at £199/€219. The below ad for the headset is in French, which proves it just in case you thought I was lying. We’ve got a list of online stores you can pick it up from below.
Go is designed as a low-cost entry point to VR; you don’t need anything other than the headset to start jumping into mobile experiences. Last year at Oculus Connect, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg stated that the company wants to get one billion people in VR. This could be another important step towards achieving that.
